Jason, I believe the corruption goes right up to the US DoC - and suspect that you do also.

It is obvious to intelligent people, that when you look at the arguments for the charge corruption - what the truth is.

Primarily.

They have system in which is impossible to avoid trademark conflicts and associated problems. They could fix system, so that it is possible to identify all trademarks - by using new restricted TLD to replace trademark symbol.

Instead, they allow Big Business to continue abusing the power of their mark. They stop people opening up small businesses - as every word in dictionary is trademarked. They stop open businesses from using their name (against unfair competition law). They stop protest and fan sites (against First Amendment and free speech).

When money and abuse of power is involved, in my honest opinion, it can only be corruption.
