I envision financial troubles for the registry, considering that speculators are
also a large factor in "getting the word out", for any new TLD. Without speculators,
the registry might be on its own, as far as marketing. The at-large public
might learn about .INFO and .BIZ within a few months to a couple of years, due in
large part to speculators, whose dollars fuel registry marketing campaigns. On
the other hand, without speculators, .NAME may take years to become widely known.
