For God's sake, it is the distinctiveness of the rendering of a particular word that is trademarked, not the bloody word. What is the matter with WIPO? Garry's proposal to have dot-reg or dot-tm make good sense - giving prescedence to image TMs across a range of extensions is a travesty.
