Richard has no doubt already informed many people about the Sunrise scams throught
the Internet Challenge site. I find it increasingly interesting that as the collective
investigation of members of this forum unfolds, the roots of the scam seem to reach
further up the ladder of the authorities and therefore the gravity and scale of the
scam is becoming much greater. What seemed initially to be a bunch of opportunist
con men taking advantage of a loophole in the system now looks like a a very well
planned fraud that used the opportunists as puppets. They were all playing very necessary
roles in Afilias' Play. As Richard said recently it is the silence of ICANN and
Afilias which speaks volumes. But some of these people are fools. They did not not
pull off their scam completely professionally. Govinda Leopold: Very sloppy. A
board member committing fraud verifiable by the whois data. Very unprofessional.
An embarrassment. The weakest link. She has jeopardised their masterplan. It is a
common trait of corrupt greedy people to get caught by pushing it that bit too far.
The other board members must be silently cursing her.
