Dear RichardWhilst your dedication to this whole issue is commendable, just because
*some* of Joker.com's (I can't speak for YesNic) registrations were by fraudsters,
dosn't mean that all of them are. I should know, I've registered two trademarks through
Joker.com.
They then sent all registrants an email explaining that there was an
error and all the names were registered under Siegfried Lagenbach's (sp?) name and
would be transferred to our real names after 180 days.
There is no doubt that some
are fraudulent registrations (as you've identified), however possibly no greater
proportion than other registrars. You do realise that the 'hundreds' that you have
picked up represent ALL of the registrations that Joker.com has registered during
sunrise?
Anyway, all I'm saying is that don't be so quick to assume that this particular
guy is out to register all these names under his own name.
Regards
Pete
