The reservation of the best names for generic tm owners is consistent with ICANN's policy of preferential treatment for big businesses. Before proceeding with their sunrise scheme ICANN was informed of the problems with such a scheme in numerous posts in this forum. The only way that this will change is (i)through democratic elections at ICANN or (ii) the overthrowing of ICANN by corporate rivals. As long as the ICANN boardsquatters in office ordinary netizens will suffer.
