Imagine what the future would be like - if the printing press had just been invented.

The Government are pleased to announce - the Printing Press.

You cannot write books about towns, countries or places.

You cannot write books about companies.

You cannot write fan magazines.

In fact, as EVERY WORD is trademarked - Big Business owns all words - you people are not allowed to use them.

Big Business can ask for their words back any time in the future.

******************************

Domains, as they stand, cannot be used as trademarks - primarily because not all trademarks can use their name and it would stop free speech.

Paul Mockapetris, creator of Domain Name System, was asked “what do you wish you had invented?”. His reply, "A directory system for the Internet that wouldn’t be controlled by the politicians, lawyers and bureaucrats."

They are using trademarks to dominate the Domain Name System - What do you not understand?
