Subject: there's a difference between an design mark and a wordmark...

the business that you found in the US Trademark Registry is a design mark. As a design mark you can register generic terms in the US and anywhere else. But you won't get the wordmark BUSINESS registered in any classes in the US because economic terms must be kept free for public use.

Someone who applies for the wordmark BUSINESS does it obviously in a bad faith. There are no circumstances that force anybody to hold that trademark.
