        Instead of compiling their list over the past 3 months, they asked some poor shlob to look into it on the 26th. "Ooops, it's tens of thousands of names, we haven't had time to look into this with WIPO and all (those couple of hundred dubious challenges that have to be re-challenged anyway).."

Now they have to daisy-chain the same 486s they used for the Landrush into a cutting edge parallel-processing, number crunching super computer to compile tha "LIST".

Meanwhile .INFO is stuck in never never land, no one will market, no one will develop and time stands still.

On top of that some genius at Afilias stumbled upon a copy of the Wall Steet Journal with a rosy prediction that the economy will turn around in the second half of 2002 and figured that's a nice round date for Landrush-2, folks let's take our time.
