Basically, it appears ICANN has for the time being abandoned plans for any new meaningful TLDs. With demand down (long predicted by various folks including myself) for domains in the legacy TLDs (.COM, .ORG, .NET), adding more TLDs is just pointless; and certainly very problematic since sunrise has been a failure for .INFO and .BIZ so far. And .NAME won't have any better luck either.

And sadly even Chris Ambler of .WEB supports sunrise for .WEB domains...umm, that's a sure way to ensure .WEB, if ever approved by ICANN, is added to the trash heap of TLD failures of the likes of .INFO and .BIZ along with all those 2nd-rate ccTLDs such as .TV, .TM, and .CC...all rotting garbage.
