I agree with that.  Were Afilias serious about marketing .info, we should have seen more advertising.  I guess 600,000 or so names at roughly 35 bucks a year is more than enough money to pay off ICANN and their (Afilias') salaries. Otherwise, why no advertising? What a wonderful scheme.  Get ICANN to award you any decent TLD, throw up (literally) a registration site, get several hundred-thousand registrations under your belt, and be guaranteed an income of millions of dollars a year for life!
