I said in my previous post "So, what you are saying is that while only Afilias gets
$5 - $6.50, Afilias also gets the balance of the $35!". I don't have a problem
with that, really. It's just that when a company isn't doing what they agreed
to do, presumably because of costs, and then for some to suggest that this company
really isn't making as much money as I said ($35 versus $5), it is frustrating in
the extreme. Being a registrar and registry at the same time is, in my opinion,
a great idea in the earlier stages of a TLD. But, it is only a good idea insofar
as this registrar/registry combination can carry out what was signed, sealed, and
delivered to ICANN. Afilias hasn't. Shelby Hudgens
