The model for distribution of names before launch is clearly flawed. The only party that should be involved should be the registry themselves. That way, the registry is barred from shifting responsibility for what happened, when it was their fault to have such lose controls set up in the first place to be exploited by rampant human greed driving the very soul of the domain industry.
