.info domains are all tied up in the 10,000 ineligible names registered by the DumbArse
registry Afilias Ltd. in the .info Sunrise.
Secondly, or really the same point,
because most people are still in .com, .net and .org mode of thinking, there are
still great .info domains available. .info is a new beast with a new application
and many people have yet to discover its diversity of uses. I registered another
one this morning that I have been thinking over for a week and will probably register
two more this evening that will fit into my my plans for a vertically integrated
group of sites.
I have seen no evidence to indicate that Afilias Ltd. has changed
and has started to make a positive contribution to the popularisation of the .info
extension.
As many currently think, I believe that it will be up to us to
make .info the first choice of internet users seeking first class information.
