If ICANN want public participation and open dialogue, why close down the forum which
has had thousands of postings, and continues to be used every day?I very much
hope ICANN will decide NOT to close it down, because there remain many issues and
concerns that await ICANN's response and involvement.
The purpose of a forum is
involvement and co-operative help : ICANN has been shameful by its absence from this
forum (which its President Stuart Lynn regards as "a joke").
However, it is very
easy to copy source and keep a site running. I've been busy copying the HTML source
of this forum for some time. If ICANN try to silence it, it is easy to make it pop
up again and all ICANN's other forums (which are scarcely used) can be filled with
links to the new location.
ICANN : instead of closing down your most active forum,
how about you try actually PARTICIPATING in it?
