Q73: Should ICANN require a
statement of policy or should a statement of how policies will be made be sufficient?
Yes
a statement of policy should be an essential element in the application process and
a criteria for success in its evaluation.
Q74: What level of openness, transparency,
and representativeness in policymaking should ICANN require?
Registry policy:
The policy of all registry's should be public. The process of how the Registry determines
its policy is less important.
Contribution to ICANN Policy: Each Registry will
be a part of the gTLDs Constituency of the DNSO and so a part of the ICANN policy
structure. That is sufficient.
