the one's I find any sense in:


.web --- common
.wap --- for WAP-service
.reg --- short for regional
.ltd --- short for Limited
.run --- exactly what it sounds like
.dir --- for search-engines (directories)
.gan --- short for Global Area Network
.www --- short for World Wide Web
