The Problem is No Longer a Problem |

We have taken so long to look at this that it has already
been solved. Just go to www.afternic.com (I don't work there, although I plan
to become an affiliate). They have done what Question 24 suggests except for
they have set up a way to register great names using two letter subdomains that still
end with .com. This is a great solution that still allows for a uniform, easy
to remember ending. The whole purpose of using a naming system instead of numbers
was to make places easy to remember. That's the reason that ccTLDs have not
really taken hold. People don't want to have to remember all of these differing
endings. My suggestion is to quit wasting time on this
issue and work on ways of getting the Internet to go faster. JoeZeppy
