My first attempt to purchase my domain name occurred
after the 'rules' had changed, and .org was my first and only choice. I never
considered a .com because I'm not a company, I'm just one person. Nevermind
that it's been taken.I don't make profit from my domain, I don't have a registered
corporation tax-id, I don't even have a company name. I just have a machine
with a web site and a domain name, like hundreds of thousands of other people I know.
Why
should I have to suffer just because Verisign or ICANN or whoever can't make up their
minds?
