Changing .org Rules Amounts to Persecution of Individuals |
Message: |
|
The point has already been made that the RFCs under which the original TLDs were
established did _not_ specify that .org domains should be restricted to non-profit
organisations. I and many other individuals have purchased .org domains which are
personal to them. Retrospectively changing the rules to require non-profit corporate
status persecutes these individuals and attacks their very identities. That is profoundly
unjust. For myself, I do not conduct business of any kind or make any money from
my .org domain. I purchased an entirely separate .com domain for that. -- Dunx
