You can only be bowing to corporate interests here, trying
to create artificial demand for .com domains..org was never meant for non-profit
corporations, and it is not a little unfair to strip us owners of .org domains because
you want to change the definition.
I hope you realize that you need to be more
responsible as caretakers, or those of us who hold the technical pursestrings will
simply re-engineer the system and effectively fire you. You are not in charge of
TLDs so that you can assist big business in becoming more powerful.
Leave .org
alone, and re-think this .com, .net deal with VeriSign. You serve the public, not
corporations.
