Subject: Revamping .org is a mistake

Although .org was originally intended purely for
non-profit
organizations, the total lack of enforcement on these names has lead
registration of these domains by several organizations who have built
identities around them.  Furthermore, a greate number of open source
projects have chosen to use the .org moniker instead of .com to
indicate their less commercially oriented nature.

Let this ship sail.  If you wanted to enforce .org stricly you should
have done so long ago.  It's too late now to go back and change
things, and frankly I can think of few reasons to do so.  If you want
to have a domain for non-profits only, then make up a new TLD to cover
that (.np - non-profit?  .charity?).
