That fact that VeriSign haas given up .ORG is of little consequence. The fact that
they get the .COM and .NET TLD's for another 4 years is astounding - what were the
reasons ICANN chose VeriSign to hand out the most important addresses, as opposed
to say any other company that can keep a register. This smacks of a backroom deal!
It's
about time ICANN put together some completely transparent tendering process and prove
their integerity.Regards
