As the holder of two .org domains, I am understandably concerned about proposed reforms to the requirements for registering or continuing to hold domains in the .org namespace.  Both domains are in my own name; I have not yet spent the resources to register a not-for-profit organization for the purpose the web sites are meant.  I am also still seeking co-sponsorship for those purposes.  (A link to one of those pages is included at the bottom of this message.)

While I can understand the annoyance of people "squatting" on .org domains, using them only to direct more traffic to a non-charitable site, or worse yet, masquerading as a charity and soliciting donations, I urge you to carefully consider the regulations you finally adopt.  I'd appreciate if you would consider those like me who registered their domains in good faith.
