I must reiterate the
same concern that many other people have already. The purpose of .org was made
abundantly clear in RFC1591.http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc1591.html
"ORG - This
domain is intended as the miscellaneous TLD for organizations that didn't fit anywhere
else. Some non-government organizations may fit here."
My personal web page, tdavis.org,
clearly fits the stated purpose of the .org TLD, and I'd quite like to keep it that
way.
