was that supposed to justify anything at all? the it's-been-this-way-so-don't-change-it
attitude? wow... that sure helps in the world of evolution, of betterment, of change...
but you've got a point nonetheless. except the business part - when you deal with
businesses, you expect to have an alternate recourse, maybe even a bad one... not
so with them... i don't like forcing monopolies to give up, because that's unfair,
in a way, except when it's impossible for other businesses to join the market (as
opposed to a monopoly by simple lack of competing companies) - in this case, they
can do anything they like.... and that bothers us. it's a control issue. they control
us, we want to control them.
