Not only does NSI hoard domains but it is a nightmare dealing
with them on any domain that was able to registered through them originally. I just
spend 4 MONTHS trying to get a domain transferred to OpenSRS. It took over 50 emails,
most of which were flat out ignored, at least 2 dozen phone calls, and over a hundred
hours of my time. This is not the first time this has happened to me. Every time,
and I do mean EVERY SINGLE TIME, I've attempted to transfer a domain away from NSI
they drag their feet, ignore my contacts and generally make it as DIFFICULT as possible
to get this done. Wake up ICANN! This is not a company that has the "Internet Community's"
best interests in mind.
