ICANN's continuing support of SAIC Venture Capital Corporation/VeriSign/NSI
(see http://www.saic.com/about/companies/) flies in the face of the Internet's long
tradition of "doing well by doing good" - and remember, the Web's TLDs depend on
the Internet.I would take gwynnebaer's comment a step further: NSI's egregiously
poor performance and abysmal customer service are grounds not just for non-renewal
of their contract, but for barring NSI altogether from remaining even one of many
approved TLD Registrars.
(I vote with my wallet, so after years of frustration
with NSI, I've finally managed to retrieve all my domain names and register them
elsewhere.)
