- This domain is intended as the miscellaneous TLD for
organizations that didn't
fit anywhere else. Some non-
government organizations may fit here." Clearly
there is no exclusivity for non-profits in this statement.
Your interpretation
of the RFC intent is misleading. The fact that
the term 'miscellaneous' is used
frankly makes the point that
there was no clear mandate for the .ORG TLD. Philip
