I have to agree that this would
be a 'targeted' email and not 'spam'. 'Spam' is email that
has nothing to do with the needs and/or desires of the recipient. I would
think that, if someone owned a .org domain name and was about to lose it, they would
WELCOME an email informing them of the current .org situation.
What would be worse? Getting an email saying 'Hey, you might lose your .org
due to a new technicality - Just thought we'd let you know' or getting an email that
says 'Hey, why doesn't your website work any more?' - just to find out that you've
lost your domain name and noone told you anything about it?
