Duck, Your post is interesting. I've had this same experience, and have watching
some expired names for over 6 months, checking almost daily to see when they'll be
available. I thought it was due to the ineptitude of Network Solutions, since they
are certainly inept at handling domain names. Now I realize there's more to it than
that.
Could it be that either:
1. they're holding the .com's so that people
will buy the .net and .org before the .com is released?
2. they're keeping the
"good" names so they can sell them later
3. or is it something else that I'm not
dubious enough to imagine?
What's going on here? Why is NSI keeping these expired
names from the public???
