Subject: Support for Unity Registry from Asia Pacific Enterprise Training Centre

Message:

                To the ICANN board,

I am writing as Director of Asia Pacific Enterprise Training Centre
(formerly the Asia Pacific Co-operative Training Centre) which conducts
training programmes and consultancies in a number of countries in Asia
and the Pacific.

We have had contact with Poptel over the last few years and respect its
breadth of competence and its global perspective. We found its value-set
was admirably suited to what we believe organizations such as ours
aspire to.

Not now being a registered co-operative we were unable to participate in
the work that Poptel has done to establish the .coop domain name, but
were very interested when the proposals were made for the .org domain
name.

We strongly support and we would wish to endorse the proposed Unity
Registry proposal and strongly recommend its acceptance. We liked the
way that Poptel had involved the .coop users and hope the plans to
similarly involve the .org users will be successful.

Best wishes

Tim Dyce
