DotOrg Foundation Garners Support For Validating Noncommercial .Orgs
Washington,
D.C. - August 2, 2002 - The roster of support is growing for the validation concepts
the DotOrg Foundation has proposed to ICANN in its bid to manage the global database
of Internet addresses for noncommercial entities. The DotOrg Foundation, a
nonprofit organization partnering with Registry Advantage, a division of Register.com
Inc. (NASDAQ: RCOM) and Kintera Inc., an online solutions provider for nonprofits,
proposes to provide proactive outreach, validation and sophisticated technology to
expand the .org domain.
