Subject: Dotster supports The Internet Society's bid

Dear ICANN Board Members,

I am writing to express my support for the Internet Society's (ISOC) bid to manage the .ORG registry.

As a Registrar, I feel it is critical that .ORG be managed by an experienced, proven entity that is familiar with the way the industry operates - especially the way the Registrars work.  ISOC has chosen Afilias to provide the back-end registry services for their bid, and Afilias has proven itself to be the kind of experienced, stable provider we can depend on.

Our experiences with Afilias during the .INFO launch have been positive from both a technical and operations standpoint, and we believe that their neutral, non-compete business model is the right one for the industry.  This, coupled with ISOC's membership in the .ORG community, makes the overall bid very attractive.

I urge you to consider the Internet Society proposal favorably and appoint the Internet Society as the next registry manager for this important domain.

Sincerely,

Clint Page
