The IMS/ISC team has watched with some bemusement as our fellow supplicants have
jammed and crammed this poor overworked BBS with copies of form letters. We
hope by now most of you have found your way to see the evolving community that has
been building up around our .org development efforts. If you'd like more information,
here are a few links:
http://not.invisible.net/dot/ contains a summary of public
support for the IMS/ISC bid. Over 700 people have taken the time to modify
their web sites and "spread the dot" or have voiced their support.
http://not.invisible.net/signals/memes/org.shtml
contains news and information about the .org process. You'll find links to
extensive discussions on community sites like Metafilter and Slashdot as well as
numerous articles and discussions around the community.
http://not.invisible.net/signals/memes/answers.shtml
contains answers to questions we've received form the general public, ICANN, and
bodies like the Noncommercial Constituency.
And, of course,
http://trusted.resource.org/
contains the full text of our proposal. We hope you'll take the time to read
it and let us know what you think.
Regards,
Carl Malamud
