I just re-read the ISOC application, and compared it to Afilias's application for
the .INFO TLD.I invite everyone to do the same, and ask yourself these questions:
Are
the technical plans the same? If so, how does that explain the fact that Afilias
has not implemented what was promised in their .INFO application? Does that not make
ISOC's application a complete fabrication? In the places where the applications differ,
how does one explain the fact that this is proof that Afilias has not honoured the
application and proposal under which they were selected?
Yes, I realize that this
is a situation of 'damned if you do, damned if you don't', but the problem stems
from the simple fact that Afilias never implemented what they promised in 2000. That
single act has damned them beyond any other.
I invite a representative from Afilias
to comment on this issue.
