I do have to admit that Neustar has some bizarre ideas for increasing revenue.  This just came across icann.blog.us and makes me wonder if they've lost their minds... ----- Neustar Charges States, Cities for .US Names Prior to the .us landrush, Neustar reserved a load of domain names corresponding to state and city names and official state mottos. It's now making them available for registration by the relevant states and cities... for a price. Three-year registration: USD$168.00. Five-year registration: USD$180.00. Lifetime registration: USD$395.00.   ----- After the "Buy .US, fight terrorism" campaign, I didn't think I could be more offended.  Fool me once..........well, you know the rest.
