Hi Kendall Dawson,

I see you are confusing "registry" with "registrar". Both the two terms are completely different. This forum was established by ICANN to discuss changes to ICANN's Registrar Accreditation Programme,
and should be used only as such.

I would like to stress that I fully support ICANN's move to increase the Registrar application fee from $1,000 to $2,500, as this will ensure only serious applicants apply as registrars. Also, the initial annual accreditation fee of $4,000 for the 1st TLD and subsequent TLDs at $500 is a good suggestion on part of the staff and I hope the BoD approve that.

Eugene
