Message:
Is it correct to assume that as applicable, the rules for self-nominated candidates are the same as for those nominated by the nominating committee?  In particular, will the latter candidates be required to identify possible conflicts of interest (rule 2 for self-nominations) and will those be publicly displayed (rule 4 for self-nominations)?  In my opinion, the answers to both questions should be YES.
