I must say that after reading all the posts in the discussion
area it has become plain that the majority of vocal members see the
present set of rules as a method whereby the present ICANN board can
influence the majority of @large nominations to the extent that most
of the final nominee's will be the one's they have chosen.

My personal tendency is to agree with this majority and in that vein
I would urge others to read Mike's document and support it as an
effective compromise to the various ideas floating about and the
rules as published by ICANN.

Having read the document I didn't find anything to argue about on the
first reading.  If you knew me that would reasonably shock you. IANAL
but I don't find legal text to confusing and it's a rare document
that provokes no twinges of paranoia.

Once again I urge everyone to read and support the changes and procedures that Mike has proposed.
