ICANN was formed because Network Solutions was a monopoly, too powerful, and totally
out of control. Network Solutions is still holding over a million domain names hostage.
Is this going to happen with the new TLDs? This should be resolved before ICANN hands
over 53 million dollars worth of new business to Network Solutions. Remember when
Register.com wanted access to the shared registry and Network Solutions did everything
they could to stop it? Remember Network Solutions arrogant attitude when ICANN took
over the naming system? In all fairness to the STABILITY of the internet, disqualify
Network Solutions from the bid until they start ACTING like a registrar and give
back the domain names they stole.
