I agree with the above post. I am wholeheartedly for IOD being awarded the .web. My company is an OpenSRS service provider (Tucows) and I would benefit immensely (financially) should .web be awarded to Affilias. BUT......please read my post about the magnitude of ICANN's [supposedly] forthcoming decision. This abuse of power has been predicted since the formation of ICANN. "He [ICANN] who controls the DNS controls the internet" - and if ICANN decides that Afilias will run .web - then, as predicted, wealthy groups can control ICANN. --M Lynn
