ICANN seem to upsetting so many people here that should the majority not be satisfied with what they do questions are bound to be raised.

There has been ample time alrady for ICANN to publicly comment and reassure people here that they are not acting improperly.

Ken Stubbs was the first concern "insider dealing" many called it.

Then the bylaws were changed to extend the time on the board of the unelected members.

Then it was announced that even though the elected members voted last time they would not be allowed to vote this time.

Then it transpired that there were four ICANN board members working for or with applicants.

Then it was shown that three of these people had tried to hide the fact until they were outed in the public forum.

Then the senior chap at ICANN was shown to be trying to play down an eight way conflict of interest by Mr Stubbs.

Then the independent section of the evaluation comitee was shown to be on the payrole at CORE.

Then the reports came out toasting IOD with inaccurate information and  at the same time not finding a single fault with Afilias.

Then it was noted that every one of Ken Stubb's applicantions had been passed to the next stage and all were regarded by the evaluation team as being strong.

The iDomain application was even highlighted as being strong because of its association with CORE.

Even the JVTeam application which is obsolete since the team fell apart was praised and the loss of its technical capability was a meer footnote.

This posting is summary, as a matter of public record.

If ICANN had intended to discredit itself, it would be hard pushed to do a better job than this.
