I much appreciate this public posting of responses to the issues raised by the ICANN
review team. Like the rebuttals in any debate, it adds an element of completeness
to the presentation by sewing up the loose ends and creating a complete package of
information. I am unfamiliar with the procedure that will be followed during the
ICANN board meeting. Will each applicant be offered the opportunity to rebut the
concerns raised by his application or an opportunity to negotiate modifications which
would satisfy sustained objections? Or is it more like a sealed bid proceeding where
what you submit the first time is all you get? Just how does the ICANN board structure
their discussions on each application, and will they even consider the applications
which the review team deemed inadequate? I'd appreciate clarification from anyone
who would be kind enough to comment. Thanks!
