It really appears
ICANN's Staff Report was thrown together at the last minute, with foregone conclusions,
rather than facts, stuffed into the content.
Similar to a highschool student's
late homework, the Staff Report includes inaccuracies, unexplained double standards,
and bad cut & paste criteria for explanations. It's as though the Staff Report
was copied from another bad student, with ICANN hoping the teacher wouldn't notice.
The way the Staff Reports for IOD and Afilias read, it's as though Afilias wrote
them. The inaccuracies, double standards, and faulty criteria have been reiterated
in this forum.
I could be wrong about Afilias participating in the writing (or
contributing to) the Staff Reports, but considering all that has been revealed, it
would not be a big shocker.
