I am writing in support of a new .co-op top level domain.
As the ICANN staff report indicated, NCBA's proposal for a .co-op tld is both technically
and financially sound, has much broad support, and has not received any criticism.
.co-op
has the advantage of global useage. It will help consumers and businesses find the
businesses they trust on the internet. The word co-op/coop is universally recognized
as representing businesses which are owned and operated by their members. The .co-op
tld would meet an unmet need on the internet and would truly make a difference.
I urge ICANN to approve.co-op as the Special Purpose TLD.
