I strongly support a new .co-op top level domain, and I am glad to hear that
the ICANN staff review agreed that NCBA's proposal for .co-op is both technically
and financially sound. It seems that there is a lack of criticism associated
with the proposal and very strong support. This domain would play a great
role in helping distinguish cooperatives from other businesses on the internet,
which would be of great value to all the consumers like myself who patronize
cooperatives. As someone who has been very involved with may different
co-ops, I commend ICANN for including .co-op among the proposed TLDs still under
consideration. I sincerely hope ICANN will approve .co-op as a Special
Purpose TLD. It will truly make a difference on the Internet.Deniz Tuncer (Staff
