Lakewinds Natural Foods is a
full service grocery cooperative owned by over 5500 members. On behalf of the
Board of Directors and staff of our store, I am writing in support of .co-op as a
proposed internet suffix. Across the globe, co-op is recognized by the many cooperative
businesses and their members as a name they can trust. As many venture out
into the world of the Internet, a co-op suffix can bring our businesses together
and give many new users a way to sift through the information overload to find like-businesses.
