My name is Katelyn Lord, Outreach and Member Services
Director for Food Front Co-operative Grocery. I greatly approve the ICANN staff report
for concluding that NCBA'a proposal for.co-op is both technically and financially
sound and including .co-op among the proposed TLD's still under consideration. Co-ops
provide real solutions for people everyday, and have trusted reputation in the public
mind. (Hartmann report 1994). the word co-op is recognized throughout the world as
representing businesses that are owned and operated by their members. I represent
a co-op with over 2,000 members, and growing by the day. I urge ICANN to approve
.co-op as the Special Purpose TLD that will truly meet a need and make a difference
on the Internet.
