Who did
MSNBC ask, how many english, australians, chinese, south americans, africans etc.Plus
of course .xxx and .sex are most popular, they are asking consumers not businesses.
Consumers do not buy domain names nor build websites. Businesses do.
That ICANN
are considering .biz is a joke. .shop has worldwide credibility .biz does not.
In
the UK 'doing the biz' is slang. You may may hope to find someone who does the biz,
but you certainly would not want to call your company it.It is not suitable for an
ending we would not want a .biz ending. Can you imagine Harrods.biz. Absolutely no
chance.
It is precisely the rest of the world outside the USA who want new domainnames.
They are the ones who lost out as the Americans got all the .coms. The rest of the
world have to make up silly names.
.web is ok but suggests an internet company.
I would happily buy a . web for my webdesign business but want .shop for my retail
businesses.
LISTEN CAREFULLY .biz isnt serious. .shop would be popular
